Geburtstagsgrüsse / Birthday greetings

Es ist nun definitiv Herbst. Die Pilzsammler werden im Wald fündig und ein Spaziergang dort bei sonnigem Wetter ist ein echtes Vergnügen.

It definitely is autumn now. All the mushroom pickers are happy to make a find and so strolling through the forests on sunny days is a pure delight.

Die Abende werden wiederum vermehrt genutzt für's Nähen oder Sticken, nachdem das tägliche Giesskannenschleppen im Garten jetzt ein Ende gefunden hat. Weihnachten ist ja auch nicht mehr fern (in 13 Wochen!), und so bin ich bereits am Anfertigen von kleinen Geschenken.

Evenings again are filled with sewing and stitching, now that my daily job of watering all the pots and containers in the garden is over. And Christmas is not very far away anyway (to be exactly only 13 weeks left !) and so I am already busy preparing little gifts.

Dieser kleine gestickte Rosenkranz ist nun Bestandteil eines Täschchens geworden.

This little stitched wreath of roses now is part of a purse.

Es wurde heute eingepackt und tritt die Reise nach "down under" an. Es soll ein kleiner Gruss an eine liebe Person sein, die nächste Woche ihren Geburtstag feiert.

And the little purse is now on the way to "down under". It should bring greetings and all the best wishes to a dear person who is celebrating her birthday next week!
