Warum ein neues Blog, in dem es um kleinere und grössere Stoffstückchen (Bitzlis) und andere "Kleinigkeiten" geht? Ganz einfach! Ich habe vor etwas mehr als einem Jahr mit Nähen (Patchwork und Quilten) begonnen. Jetzt wo die Kinder erwachsen und zum Teil ausgeflogen sind, habe ich auch mehr Zeit für meine Hobbies. Aber als Mensch der nicht (immer) gerne alleine werkelt, zudem Anregungen und Austausch braucht, wage ich auch den Schritt als Patchwork-Anfängerin in die Oeffentlichkeit. Man, bzw. Frau lernt schliesslich nie aus ;-) !
Why another blog about little bits and pieces of fabric (the translation of "Bitzli") and other "little things"? The answer is quite simple. I started with sewing (patchwork and quilting) about a year ago. My four children are grown up and three of them have left home, so there is more spare time for this new hobby. I do not like to work alone all the time and furthermore I like to get new impulses and to exchange ideas etc. with other quilters. Finally, you live and learn all the time ;-) !
