Helle Farben / Bright colours
For several days already, it's being extremely cold outside. We have up to -17° C which is quite unusual for the region I'm living. In the mornings I often discover ice flowers on the windows of our terrace. Little beauties of mother nature!
It looks as if I'd like to match my current projects (with regard to the choice of colours!) to the weather, i.e. to the snow we have outside. All the chosen fabrics are very bright, pastel-coloured.
Some years ago I bought some fabric in the colour of a rainbow. This fabric I finally wanted to use as well as the Lazy Angle Ruler which I never tried out before. With this ruler you can cut the various patterns in an easy, quick and fabric saving way. I chose a very simple pattern and with the same cut (als back to front) I could get two different baby quilts. The first quilt is on the way to be finished.
Eine andere Decke im "hidden nine patch" (ebenfalls mit hellen Stoffen) wartet als Sandwich auf das Quilten.
Another "hidden-nine-patch" quilt (in bright colours too) is sandwiched and waiting to be finished.
Some partially finished stripes in bold colours (an UFO too) are ready for sewing. I do not reveal now how many UFO's there are still waiting too ;-) !!
