How wonderful, it is Spring now. In the garden it is visible everywhere, but in various corners still a little hesitantly. It's the season where I'm spending more time outside than in my sewing room :-) !
At the moment you'll find some leaves from all seasons on my sewing table. These blocks will probably once become a little wall hanging.
Eine liebe Freundin feiert anfangs Sommer einen runden Geburtstag. Sie mag Blumen und deshalb habe ich zwei Tops genäht mit verschiedenen Blumenstoffen.
A dear friend is going to have a special birthday in the beginning of summer. She likes flowers and therefore I made two quilt tops with according fabrics.
Both quilts will have about the same size. And my friend may choose one of these quilts for a birthday present. I wonder which one she'll finally take. In the beginning of June I'll know.
Another top is finished too. I am a little afraid to quilt it because of its size and the bulk I have to deal with. This also is a reason - among others - for my preference to make lapquilts and babyquilts. But I am sure at some point this quilt won't belong to my UFO's anymore ;-) !
Look at all those quilts!! Your star quilt looks very much like the one I am handquilting at the moment.
