Recently I found some clay left and I suddenly had the idea to make little tags that would pimp a few gifts. These tags should not only get some colour but also some structure and so I took a little piece of lace which I pressed on the clay and then carefully pulled off.
Die ersten Versuche bestanden aus Herzen.
My first trials were little hearts.
These hearts can pimp other things too....
I've stopped to make New Year's resolutions. But there's no exception to the rule. When looking at all the UFOs I have in my boxes I get a bad conscience. So my intention now is first to finish two old UFOs before I start with something new. During the last weeks I even finished three of them, then I also finished some heart pillows for the hospital and in the evenings I was knitting a few more of these "old fashioned" dish-cloths. Now, I may ligth-heartedly start a new project this Saturday when I'll attend a sewing class :-) !

The days between Christmas and New Year we spent in the mountains, in a way our second home since my childhood. During the sunny days I didn't think of any kind of handicraft. To be outside and enjoy the fresh air, this was the order of the day.
But often weather quickly changes in the mountains. What can I do apart from reading when having the sewing machine to hand but all the fabrics were left at home?
Of course, one possibility is to knit. Cotton yarn can be bought easily. So from various colours I then made some dish cloths.
I know in the age of microfibres this sounds a little outdated. But these dish cloths haven been proved successful and can also be washed at high temperatures and put in the tumble dryer. I know there still exist women who like to use this material (and microfibres too!) in their household. So do I!
